Part-Time Children's Director
Ministry Summary
For the last six years, the children’s ministry programs at Lake Wylie have been developed and strengthened by our current director, Marcy Williams. The ministry has several fundamental values: teaching Biblical truth, developing Christian friendships, and caring for families of the church. As Marcy turns her attention to Youth Ministry (6th – 12thGrade), we seek an energetic director who will own the children’s programs and expand them as the church grows.
Position Summary
You will provide hands-on leadership for Sunday morning programs (Sunday School and Kids’ Worship) and key special events such as VBS and Trunk-or-Treat. You will recruit and equip volunteers, partner with our Elders on curriculum, greet families, and help create a welcoming environment where children encounter the gospel and grow in their faith.

Plan and lead Sunday School and Kids’ Worship.

Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers.

Oversee major events including VBS and Trunk-or-Treat.

Follow up with guest families.

Manage the children’s ministry budget and administrative systems.

Partner with Elders on family care initiatives.
